Bloom Lake
On January 27, 2015 Bloom Lake General Partner Limited, Quinto Mining Corporation, 8568391 Canada Limited, Cliffs Quebec Iron Mining ULC, The Bloom Lake Iron Ore Mine Limited Partnership, and Bloom Lake Railway Company Limited (collectively, "Bloom Lake" or the "Bloom Lake CCAA Parties") sought and obtained an order (as amended from time to time, the "Bloom Lake Initial Order") under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (the "CCAA") from the commercial division of the Quebec Superior Court (the "Court"). Pursuant to the Bloom Lake Initial Order, FTI Consulting Canada Inc. has been appointed as Monitor. The Bloom Lake Initial Order also provides for a stay of all proceedings against the Bloom Lake CCAA Parties for an initial thirty (30) day period subject to further extensions by the Court (the "Bloom Lake Stay"). On December 24, 2024, the Monitor filed the CCAA Termination Certificate certifying that: i) the Final Distribution has been completed; ii) all Uncashed Distributions and Undistributable Amounts, if any, have been paid in accordance with sections 7.5 and 7.8 of the Plan and in accordance with the terms of the Stay Extension and CCAA Termination Order; iii) all Remaining Matters in the CCAA Proceedings have been completed; and, iv) the CCAA Proceedings have been terminated as at the date of this certificate, being December 24, 2024. Wabush Mines On May 20, 2015 Wabush Iron Co. Limited, Wabush Resources Inc., Wabush Mines, Arnaud Railway Company, and Wabush Lake Railway Company Limited (collectively, "Wabush" or the "Wabush CCAA Parties") sought and obtained an Initial Order (as amended from time to time, the "Wabush Initial Order") under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (the "CCAA") from the commercial division of the Quebec Superior Court (the "Court"). Pursuant to the Wabush Initial Order, FTI Consulting Canada Inc. has been appointed as Monitor. The Wabush Initial Order also provides for a stay of all proceedings against the Wabush CCAA Parties for an initial thirty (30) day period until June 19, 2015, subject to further extensions by the Court (the "Wabush Stay").
