On September 8, 2009, Trident Exploration Corp. ULC, Fort Energy Corp. ULC, Fenergy Corp. ULC, 981384 Alberta Ltd., 981405 Alberta Ltd., 981422 Alberta Ltd., Trident Resources Corp., Trident CBM Corp., Aurora Energy LLC, Nexgen Energy Canada, Inc. and Trident USA Corp. (collectively, “Trident” or the “Applicants”) sought and obtained an Initial Order (the “Initial Order”) under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (the “CCAA”). Pursuant to the Initial Order, FTI Consulting Canada ULC (“FTI” or the “Monitor”) has been appointed Monitor. The Initial Order also provides for a stay of proceedings against the Applicants, which stay expires October 7, 2009, unless otherwise ordered by the Court. |
