On January 17, 2012, NFC Acquisition GP Inc., NFC Acquisition Corp. and NFC Land Holdings Corp. (collectively, the “Applicants” and together with NFC Acquisition L.P., and New Food Classics, “NFC”) sought and obtained an Initial Order (the “Initial Order”) under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (the “CCAA”). Pursuant to the Initial Order, FTI Consulting Canada Inc. (“FTI” or the “Monitor”) has been appointed Monitor.
