On May 15, 2026, Nunavut Iron Ore, Inc., Baffinland Iron Mines Corporation and 12334992 Canada Inc. (collectively, the "Applicants") obtained an initial order (the "Initial Order") from the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) (the "Court") commencing proceedings (the "CCAA Proceedings") under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. C-36, as amended (the "CCAA"). The Initial Order provides, among other things, a stay of proceedings in favour of the Applicants and the appointment of FTI Consulting Canada Inc. as monitor of the Applicants (in such capacity, the "Monitor"). The stay has been granted until and including August 28, 2026 (the "Stay Period").

On August 27, 2026, the Court issued the Omnibus Order, which amongst other things, extended the Applicants' Stay Period until and including December 11, 2026.
